When Steven Reynolds was a kid growing up in Manchester, TN, he benefitted from a great public education system. Unfortunately, today's kids are suffering an ever-growing disparity in educational opportunities. Steven Reynolds believes that every child in Tennessee and across the country should have equal access to a high-quality education from early childhood through college, and that’s why Steven is committed to improving our education system for all students.
Tennessee ranked number 36 in the nation in 2016 based on K-12 academic achievement, school finance and "chance for success," and with the implementation of the voucher system, Steven has been advised by many dedicated educators that Tennessee's rank will not improve.
